Despite the ongoing election campaign in Jhang, Pakistan, the Minhaj-ul-Quran sisters are also actively doing Islamic Dawah work side by side. In over two thirds of the city they have established Minhaj-ul-Quran women leagues. Teams have been created who will oversee Islamic activities through the city for the women. They will be involved in setting up regular Islamic study circles, Darse Quran classes and regular Mehfils.
More ever they will set up local welfare projects such as sewing centres to provide employment for women who are in most need.
All of the new members met Hassan Mohiuddin, (M.N.A candidate for Jhang), who briefed them on how to conduct there Islamic activities and the importance for women and their families to be educated in Islam.
