Dr Hassan Qadri Addresses Rida e Fazeelat Ceremony at MCW 2026

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, participated in the concluding intellectual session of the Rida-e-Fazeelat (Cloak of Excellence) Ceremony organized by Minhaj College for Women to mark the completion of Al-Shahadah Al-Alamiyyah studies.

A distinctive feature of the event was the remarkable gathering of female graduates not only from the current graduating class but also from all graduating batches from the college's establishment in 1994 through 2026. On this occasion, the Chairman congratulated Principal Aftab Khan Qadri, his entire team, particularly Bazm-e-Minhaj and its affiliated departments, for successfully bringing together graduates from all these years for the first time. He also appreciated the dedicated support provided by the Minhajians Sisters Department.

Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated that Almighty Allah has bestowed upon the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ the distinguished honor of being the "Best Nation (Khair-e-Ummat)" through its association with, adherence to, and blessings derived from the Holy Prophet ﷺ. However, he emphasized that this honor carries responsibilities that must be fulfilled to truly merit this exalted status. He noted that only those who mold their lives according to the character and example of the Holy Prophet ﷺ can genuinely be counted among the members of this blessed nation.

He further stated that the identity of the Khair-e-Ummat should be reflected in its morals, character, dealings, and way of life. When our outward and inward states, individual and collective conduct, and religious and worldly affairs are imbued with the teachings and character of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, only then can we reform our lives and become worthy of Allah’s rewards and blessings.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council remarked that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri envisions daughters who are equipped with knowledge, awareness, and purposeful character so that they may effectively confront the intellectual, moral, and cultural challenges of the modern age. He emphasized that Shaykh-ul-Islam has laid the foundation of women's empowerment on education, training, and character building because educated and well-trained women can play a transformative role in building a Prophetic society and become a practical manifestation of the Khair-e-Ummat.

He added that Minhaj-ul-Quran continues its efforts to disseminate the blessings of the Prophetic teachings through education, training, and outreach, while striving to nurture a generation distinguished by strong character, awareness, and a spirit of service to humanity.

Earlier, Principal Aftab Ahmad Khan delivered the welcome address, greeting the distinguished guests, faculty members, graduates, and students. He highlighted the objectives and significance of the Rida-e-Fazeelat Ceremony and introduced the college's various educational, training, and character-development programs. He noted that Minhaj College for Women is committed to providing students with modern education alongside moral, intellectual, and practical training, enabling them to play positive, effective, and leadership roles in society.

During the ceremony, Dr. Ghazala Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, conferred the Rida-e-Fazeelat honor upon graduates from different sessions.
