A seminar was held at the Central Secretariat on the occasion of the 38th Foundation Day of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League. Addressing the seminar, Nazim-e-Aala Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that education and training of women on religious foundations is an indispensable need of the time. He stated that the Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, holds the unique distinction of establishing exemplary institutions for the education and training of women alongside men, and of preparing women as da‘iyahs (female preachers). Today, these women are playing an active role across Pakistan in educating and training women and in shaping them as responsible and active citizens of the country. Shaykh-ul-Islam firmly believes that no goal of development can be achieved without bringing women into the mainstream of education and training.

Vice President of the Minhaj European Council and a long-time associate of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, Dr. Bushra Riaz, shed light on the historic struggle of the Women League. She said that for the past 38 years, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League has been playing a prominent role in social reform through the religious, moral, and intellectual training of women. She paid tribute to the vision of the Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, under which women are being provided effective opportunities in the fields of religious outreach, training, and leadership.

On this occasion, organizations of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League from around the world paid tribute to the Mother Organization’s respected leader, Mohtarma Riffat Jabeen Qadri, in recognition of her outstanding services. During this joyous Foundation Day ceremony, commemorative shields were presented to senior office-bearers who played a remarkable role in organizational stability, intellectual training, and missionary services, in acknowledgment of their selfless efforts, steadfastness, and sacrifices.

The seminar was also addressed by Shameem Khan, Dr. Hameera Naz, Dr. Shazia Butt, Ayesha Mubashir, Sana Waheed, Irshad Iqbal, Dr. Javeria Hassan, and others. The ceremony concluded with the cutting of a cake to mark the 38th Foundation Day and a collective prayer for the safety and prosperity of the beloved homeland.
