Under the banner of the Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League’s children’s wing “Eagers,” a Rabi-ul-Awwal Welcome Rally was organized by children, starting from the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran and ending at Jamia Shaykh-ul-Islam. The children were dressed in colorful clothes, with young girls donning pink, green, and golden scarves, participating in the rally with devotion and respect.
Torch-bearing children marched throughout the route chanting “Marhaba, Marhaba – The Prophet (PBUH) has arrived.” Hundreds of children between the ages of 5 and 10 took part in the rally. Before it began, balloons and doves were released into the sky. In celebration of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the children also distributed chocolates and sweets to the Minhaj-ul-Quran staff.
The leadership of Minhaj-ul-Quran welcomed the children with showers of rose petals. After the rally, a Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) gathering and Milad Feast were held at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat, organized by the children.
Those who attended the feast included Khurram Nawaz Gandapur (Secretary-General), Engineer Rafiq Najam, Noorullah Siddiqi, Jawad Hamid (Deputy Secretary-Generals), Lubna Mushtaq (Head, Coordination Council – MWL), Kulsoom Qamar (Director, Eagers), Dr. Shahida Naumani, Irshad Iqbal, Saima Noor, Hafiza Sehr Ambreen, Rabia Shafiq, Hina Fatima, and a large number of boys and girls.
Speaking on the occasion, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the “Eagers” program is fulfilling the responsibility of nurturing children with Islamic values. He emphasized that the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a role model for all of us.
Engineer Rafiq Najam stated that today’s children are the future of tomorrow, and the Seerah of the Holy Engineer Rafiq Najam stated that today’s children are the future of tomorrow, and the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provides excellent guidance for their moral development. He noted that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has made Minhaj-ul-Quran a center for the training of individuals of all ages.
Director of Eagers, Kulsoom Qamar, remarked that the purpose of the candle walk was to instill love for the Prophet (PBUH) in children and to align them with Islamic values and culture.
Children participating in the rally expressed their commitment to attend the 42nd International Mawlid Conference, to be held at Minar-e-Pakistan on the nights of 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, and to listen to the address of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
