This past weekend, Minhaj Women League Kløfta and Minhaj Halqa-i-Durood Kløfta organized their annual Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ program, an event filled with love, reverence, and spiritual joy.
The program was conducted by Chand Bibi and Sadia Asif, MHD Coordinator Kløfta. The gathering began with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Naila Mirza and was enriched by soul-stirring nasheeds presented by Swera Gill, Quratulain Yasir, Javeria Yousaf, Sadia Asif, and Hifza Qureshi, creating an inspiring spiritual atmosphere.
The guest of honour, Basima Hassan Qadri, delivered a profound keynote speech on the theme: “Talluq o Nisbat e Mustafa ﷺ – Our Connection and Affiliation with the Holy Prophet ﷺ.” She emphasized that a true relationship with the Prophet ﷺ rests on four fundamental principles:
Love (Mahabbah)
Respect and Reverence (Adab)
Obedience and Following (Ita’ah)
Support of the Prophetic Mission (Nusrah)
She explained that love without respect is incomplete, while respect without love is lifeless. Drawing examples from the companions of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, she highlighted how their faith was measured by the depth of their love, obedience, and reverence. She stressed that our own bond with Mustafa ﷺ becomes complete only when all these dimensions—love, respect, obedience, and support—are combined, which also reflects the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran.
A summary of her speech was later delivered in Norwegian by Iqra Zeb, General Secretary of Minhaj Women League Kløfta. The program concluded with a heartfelt dua by Tahira Firdous, who also presented flowers to Basima Hassan Qadri on behalf of Minhaj Women League Kløfta and Minhaj Halqa-i-Durood Kløfta.
Distinguished participants included representatives from NEC and local chapters: Samina Ishaq (President, MWL Oslo), Nazia Batool (President, MHD Norway & MWL Europe), Iqra Mushtaq Khan (President, MU Sisters Norway), and Sameen Shabbir (Deputy Finance Secretary, NEC).
We extend our congratulations and gratitude to Saira Nisar (President, MWL Kløfta), Sadia Asif (MHD Coordinator Kløfta), Asif Javed (President, Minhaj Cultural Center Kløfta), along with all the organizers and volunteers, for hosting a graceful and successful Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gathering.
