Dr. Ghazala Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International, delivered a keynote address at the Syeda Zainab (سلام اللہ علیہا) Conference organized by MWL Pakistan. The event was held to honor the remarkable legacy of Syeda Zainab (sa) and to draw inspiration from her unwavering courage, eloquence, and devotion to the mission of Islam.

In her address, Dr. Ghazala Qadri highlighted that Syeda Zainab (sa) was nurtured in the blessed companionship of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and was deeply influenced by the pure teachings of her parents, Sayyiduna Ali (علیہ السلام) and Sayyida Fatima Zahra (سلام اللہ علیہا). She explained how the Prophet ﷺ named her “Zainab,” foretelling the immense trials she would endure and recognizing her as a symbol of strength and sacrifice.

She emphasized the pivotal role of Syeda Zainab (sa) after the tragedy of Karbala. Despite facing immense hardship, she stood fearlessly in Yazid’s court, delivering sermons that unveiled the truth and preserved the legacy of Imam Hussain (علیہ السلام). Her courage, clarity, and steadfastness remain an eternal source of inspiration for women across the world. Concluding her address, Dr. Ghazala Qadri prayed for the acceptance of such gatherings in the divine court and urged believers to stay connected to the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (علیہم السلام).
