A Soul-Stirring Tarbiyyah Session by Dr. Farah Naz at Itikaf city 2025

Mustafavi Sisters had the privilege of attending a deeply impactful Tarbiyyah Session led by Dr. Farah Naz, President of MWL Pakistan. The focus of her discourse was the crucial Islamic principle of "وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا," emphasizing the necessity of excellent conduct towards parents.

She underscored the severity of neglecting parental rights, conveying that those who are disobedient and disrespectful will not receive Allah's favor. She highlighted that Islam mandates respect for parents regardless of their faith, citing instances from early Islamic history where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed believers to maintain respectful relationships even with non-Muslim parents.

She explained the generational impact of one's behavior towards parents, stating that obedience and respect cultivate righteous descendants, while disrespect can lead to reciprocal negative treatment in future generations. To solidify the session's message, Dr. Farah Naz engaged the participants in a heartfelt activity, prompting them to write messages to their parents expressing appreciation and admiration. Recognizing the challenges some students faced in connecting with their parents, she provided individual counseling, offering practical advice on navigating parental imperfections and emphasizing the importance of utilizing this time to practice "Ehsan."

The session left a lasting impression, inspiring a renewed commitment to filial piety and providing valuable guidance for strengthening family relationships.
