Assalam-o-Alaikum,
Subject: Celebrations Regarding Jashn-e-Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW)
As you are aware the Holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal is approaching. This is the holiest month which carries greatest blessings of Almighty Allah as the Holy Prophet (SAW) was born on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. All Muslims who love him most dearly await for the birthday of the last Prophet of Allah with all their heart and soul.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, Pakistan has decided to celebrate this event and has arranged a schedule of preparations worthy of the occasion to celebrate all over the country and abroad and wish that all associates, workers and organisers to join in celebrations. Below are some ideas to implement which Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League have already begun:
1. At Family Level:
1st Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Strive to create understanding of the event especially for the children who must be taught and
made aware of the fact that this is an Eid for all Muslims. This meeting should be arranged daily from 1st to 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
2nd Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Children should at least learn by heart one Darood-e-Pak and understand its worth.
3rd Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Hold a family level meeting daily preferably betwen Asar and Maghrib prayers. Recite along with your children Naat-e-Mubarak. Distribute sweets and greetings so that the younger people may feel more love and a sense of closeness to the Holy Prophet (SAW).
4th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Children may be taught the manners to recite Naat-e-Pak and learn by heart at least two concise Naat-e-Mubarak.
5th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
It is the duty of a Muslim mother to tell her children how Hazoor-e-Pak (saw) loved small children.
6th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Get new clothes for your children as is a custom on Eid day.
7th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Draw an outline of Gumbad-e-Khizra (The dome of Masjide-Nabvi) and ask your children to colour
it. So that they may learn to recognise it.
8th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Give your children a fruit or a vegetable which Rasool-e-Pak (saw) ate dearly, for example Date, Grapes, Melon, cucumber etc.
2. At Associate Level:
1st Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Every associate to arrange a meeting in his family and invite associates and workers to present homage to the best person in the universe (saw) by reciting Darood-o-Salam. This meeting may be daily held in the house of each associate. After 10 days a collective meeting should be arranged at least for one hour and the most of the time may be spent in discussing about the raising of the Blessed Prophet (saw) for whole of the humanity .
2nd Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Praise Allah and recite Darood-e-Pak for at least one hundred times.
3rd Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Observe a fast in gratitude for the blessing.
4th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Gift clothes to a needy woman.
5th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Study the religious status of the birth of Rasool-e-Pak (saw) and collect important references.
6th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Other than the five regular prayers, offer as many Nawafil (extra prayers) as you can.
7th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Today cook and eat a food liked by the Holy Prophet (saw) and tell your family to follow what
the Holy Prophet (saw) did, which is his pious Sunnah.
8th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
One copy of Shamael-e-Mustafa may be gifted alongwith an Eid card to a dear one.
9th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Listen to the video of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri released in connection with Jashan-e-Mustafa (Saw).
10th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Cleanse your home and buy bangles and mehndi as is a custom on Eid day.
11th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Distribute Alms to the needy and destitude to involve them in these prestigeous celebrations.
12th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Aftert offering Fajar prayers, distribute sweets, wear new clothes , meet your relatives and
hold a religious meeting for this gracious blessing
3. At Leadership Level:
1st Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Recite Darood-e-Pak a minimum 200 times today (During any time of the day, conveniently).
2nd Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Study the religious status of birth of Nabi-e-Pak (saw) pg (159 to 170).
3rd Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Distribute Alms to the needy to involve them in these prestigous celebrations.
4th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Study the Shamael-e-Mustafa (saw) by Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, chapter 7 page 455 blessings of Nabi-Karim (saw).
5th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Observe fast in gratitude of this immense blessing by Almighty Allah.
7th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Gift the book Shamael-e-Mustafa (saw) alongwith an Eid card to a dear one.
8th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Offer Nawafil regularly till 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
9th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Make preparations to welcome the birthday of Hazoor-e-Pak (saw) and cleanse your
home and illuminate the house in the evening.
10th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Invite your friends and relatives, greet them and offer meals and hold a religious meeting.
11th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Collectively listen the video by Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri (casset No CB. 18) Hazoor (saw) is more
Dear and Near and loved by the Momineen more than their own life and soul.
12th Rabi-ul-Awwal:
Collectively listen the Audio Casset No. Ec-64 by Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri on the wisdom and
blessings of Birth of Hazoor (saw) and attend your local Milad-un-Nabi programme.
