Under the banner of WOICE, a free medical camp was successfully organized in Tehsil Klassky Shumali, District Gujranwala, to commemorate Founder’s Day. The initiative aimed to provide quality healthcare services to the local community, ensuring free medical consultations, tests, and medicines for those in need.
A team of expert doctors, including Dr. Tahreem Imtiaz (Gynecologist, Huwa Memorial Hospital, Wazirabad), Dr. Farooq Ehsan Sohoo (General Physician), Dr. Yasmeen Ghazali (Radiologist & Ultrasound Specialist), and Dr. Mobasher Munir Tarrar (Pharmacy Technician), conducted thorough medical check-ups for over 125 patients. The camp facilitated free ultrasound, sugar tests, and hepatitis screenings, with necessary referrals made to dispensaries for further treatment.
The initiative received an overwhelmingly positive response from the local community. Mrs. Atiyya Sahil, President of the Women's League of Islamic Circle, North District Gujranwala, attended the camp and extended her support. Dr. Farooq Ehsan Sohoo was introduced to her, and future collaborations for similar humanitarian efforts were discussed.
As a token of appreciation, participating doctors were presented with books by Sheikh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in recognition of their services. The event was efficiently supervised by Mrs. Atiyya Sahil Qadri and Hafsah Mazhar (Social Media Coordinator, North District Gujranwala), ensuring smooth execution. Additionally, Kashif Faiz Cheema (Deputy Organizer, North District Gujranwala) and the TMQ Class team provided unwavering support throughout the event.
This medical camp stands as a testament to WOICE’s dedication to community service and healthcare accessibility, reinforcing the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran in uplifting society through compassionate initiatives.
