Teach the new generation the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

A special Hadith Camp for boys and girls was organized by the Eagers department of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, where hundreds of children memorized 40 Hadith.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, emphasized the importance of imparting the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah to the new generation. He stated that the environment in which children are nurtured during their early years becomes an integral part of their personality. It is the responsibility of parents to provide their children with education in the Quran and Hadith.

Addressing the event, Sahibzada Tariq Sharif Zada remarked that arranging education and training in the Quran and Sunnah for boys and girls in these times is a great act of piety. He congratulated Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and the Women League for this noble initiative, stating that if we wish to raise a morally upright generation, we must teach children the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Shahid Noor expressed that the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah have been eradicated from our educational institutions and stressed the need to restore this practice. He added that only the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah can reform the character of our children.

MWL leader Ayesha Mubashir stated that Minhaj-ul-Quran provides religious education for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Kulsoom Qamar shared that the 40 Hadith memorized by children during the camp pertain to ethics. She appreciated the cooperation of children and their parents and vowed to expand this initiative.

Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi highlighted that knowledge acquired during childhood remains engraved in one’s mind for a lifetime. He congratulated Eagers for their efforts in providing religious education to children.

Abbas Sami expressed his delight in witnessing such an educational environment at Minhaj-ul-Quran events, comparing it to similar special Hadith classes held at Madinah University.

Speakers at the event included Nighat Wahab, Sadia Jabeen Alvi, Deputy Secretary General Media Affairs Noorullah Siddiqui, Principal of Minhaj College for Women Aftab Khan, Abbas Sami, Vice President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Sidra Karamat, Coordinator Umm e Habiba Ismail, Syeda Nimra Batool, and other female leaders.
