A meeting of the Minhaj-ul-Quran Women’s League was held at the central secretariat in Model Town. The heads of the administrative committees formed to oversee the preparations for the 41st International Mawlid Conference attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by the central president, Dr. Farah Naz.
While addressing the meeting, Dr. Farah Naz said that preparations and arrangements for the 41st International Mawlid Conference, the largest gathering in the Islamic world, are in their final stages. Thousands of women will attend the International Mawlid Conference. She stated that on the night between the 11th and 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, September 16, thousands of women from Lahore alone will participate in the 41st International Mawlid Conference, which will be held at the vast Minar-e-Pakistan grounds.
Vice President Sidra Karamat, while speaking at the meeting, said that the Minhaj-ul-Quran Women’s League had formed 30 committees to manage the preparations and arrangements for the 41st International Mawlid Conference. Prominent women from religious, political, academic, and other fields have been invited to attend the conference.
She further informed the meeting that the Women League has also launched a campaign to connect with women in Lahore and other cities. She said that the joy of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the benefactor of humanity, is greater than any joy in the world. Minhaj-ul-Quran spreads the message of peace, love, tolerance, and respect for humanity by organizing Mawlid-un-Nabi (PBUH) gatherings.
During the meeting, a comprehensive plan was developed for discipline, security, reception camps, stalls, and other matters in the women’s section of the 41st International Mawlid Conference. The meeting was attended by officials including Aneela Ilyas, Lubna Mushtaq, Umm Habiba Ismail, Ayesha Mubashir, Ayesha Shabbir, Sana Waheed, and others.
