A two-day Organizational and Training Camp was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan in Township, Lahore, for mega launching of Marakiz-e-Ilm [circles of knowledge] project, in which the officials and designates of organizational bodies participated from all over Pakistan. The camp officially commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and praises for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). During the inaugural session, a special clip by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri titled "The Role of Women in the Propagation of Religion" was presented, which left a profound impact on all attendees.
Ms. Sidra Karamat, Vice President Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan, delivered the opening remarks at this camp. Welcoming the participants, she stated that this camp is a significant step that highlights the practical implementation of the divine command 'You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong.' She emphasized that this camp is not merely an educational gathering but an opportunity to recognize the responsibilities of the chosen community of God.
Javeria Hassan, Director Training Minhaj College for Women, shed light on the importance of educational institutions for the younger generation. She discussed the significance of Minhaj College for Women in providing contemporary and religious education at the same time, as well as its different courses aimed at character-building for the youth.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman Supreme Council Minhaj-ul-Quran International, addressed the importance of circles of knowledge [Marakiz-e-Ilm] and emphasized the need to promote the teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). He mentioned that Minhaj-ul-Quran has played a crucial role in both the revival of religion and the propagation of knowledge. He stated that the curriculum of these circles. of knowledge has been designed with the purpose of preserving, compiling, narrating, promoting, and disseminating the great blessing of Hadith, so that the light of the Prophetic traditions may reach every home through these circles and gatherings.
The first day of the camp concluded with a consultative meeting, during which members of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League from across Pakistan discussed various agendas, including circles of knowledge and the Mawlid Campaign. Additionally, the Action Plan for the year 2024 was presented. Dr. Farah Naz, President Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, presided over the meeting, providing detailed insights into the establishment of circles of knowledge, the Mawlid Campaign 2024, and the training of the younger generation.
The second day of the Organizational and Training Camp 2024 commenced with meditation sessions after the Fajr prayer held at the "Shaykh-ul-Islam Institute of Spiritual Studies" for spiritual enhancement. Syed Khalid Hameed Kazmi Al-Azhari taught two groups the practices of meditation. On the second day of the camp, Ayesha Aamir, a representative of Minhaj University Lahore, highlighted the university's educational progress and projects. Mrs. Ayesha Mubashar also provided a detailed briefing on the working plan and objectives of the Mawlid Campaign 2024.
Ms. Sidra Karamat addressed the participants on the second day of the camp, briefing them on the vision, objectives, and strategies of the circles of knowledge, emphasizing the need for educational, moral, and intellectual revolution through these circles. Secretary Zone Umm Habiba Ismail provided a briefing on the curriculum of the circles of knowledge and explained its various aspects. Dr. Farah Naz, President Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, highlighted the importance and necessity of beneficial knowledge, stressing the significance of establishing circles for promoting beneficial knowledge. She remarked that beneficial knowledge is that which manifests in character and brings about change in society. She also reviewed the Working Plan 2024-2025 and inspected the departmental workshops held during the camp.
Mrs. Lubna Mushtaq, Secretary Departments, spoke about the importance of following the Sunnah and the significance of prayer, stating that societal reform is possible through adherence to the Sunnah and prayer. She emphasized that these circles are a journey from individual reform to societal reform.
At the conclusion of the second day of the Organizational and Training Camp 2024, Mrs. Fizza Hussain Qadri made a special appearance at the camp and addressed the participants, highlighting the benefits of righteous company and its practical effects. She stated that it is essential to act upon the teachings of the righteous and Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri to ensure the propagation of religion and societal reform. She emphasized that in order to benefit from the righteous company, action is necessary, and it should be integrated into one’s life. This camp has proven to be a milestone in the organizational and training development of women, through which not only individuals but society as a whole will be reformed.
At the end of the program, valuable feedback from the participants regarding the camp was gathered, and the participants prayed for the success of the camp's objectives. The Organizational and Training Camp 2024 organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League stands as a testament to the Women League’s efforts in promoting religious education and training.
