Naeemuddin Chaudhry Advocate, the legal spokesperson for the Model Town incident, has requested the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court to issue orders for the swift resolution of the pending petitions related to the JIT cases currently being heard in the Lahore High Court. He said the JIT, formed on the orders of the Supreme Court, has been barred from operating by the Lahore High Court for the past four years.

“How can justice be served without an impartial investigation?”

Naeemuddin Chaudhry Advocate mentioned that the Model Town incident is the only case in the country's history where 14 citizens were killed, and the statements of the victims' heirs, the injured, and eyewitnesses have yet to be recorded. Instead, fake challans were prepared by presenting police touts as witnesses, he added.
