A Milad gathering was held at the Minhaj College for Women on November 5 under the banner of Bazm-e-Minhaj, Islamic Society and Khadija hostel. Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri was a special guest on the occasion.
In her talk, Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri said that the passion and devotion with which the students of the College take part in Naat Khawani, certainly represents their love of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). She said that the love of the beloved Prophet (SAW) demands that we follow his Seerah in our individual and collective life. She advised the students to adopt the character and excellent conduct of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) as the governing principles of their lives.
A large number of teachers, staff members and students including Principal Prof. Dr. Samar Fatima, Vice-Principal Humaira Naz, General Secretary MWL Sidra Karamat, Arifa Tariq, Yasmeen Zafar, Mrs. Dr Sajid Shahzad, Ammara Maqsood, Mrs. Shameem Khan, and Noreen Alvi.
The proceedings of the ceremony got underway with the recitation from the Holy Quran. The students of Minhaj College for Women recited Naat and praises in the court of the beloved Prophet (SAW) in their heart-touching voices. The whole venue was beautifully decorated, reflecting a sense of deep devotion and love.
At the end of the ceremony, Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri and Prof. Dr. Samar Fatima congratulated Umme Habiba, in-charge Bazm-e-Minhaj, Kalsoom Tariq, in-charge Islamic Society, and supervisor of Khadija hostel as well as all the students for the successful conduct of Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh).
