Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Peshawar arranged a Milad ceremony in which central president MWL Dr Farah Naz delivered a speech. Ms. Irshad Iqbal, zonal general secretary KPK, attended the ceremony as a special guest.

In her speech, Dr Farah Naz spoke on the subject of "Ishq and Owais Qarni (RA)" in which she described his story of love for the Prophet (pbuh) from the holy city of Medina to Qarn. She said that remembering such personalities, protecting their memorials, seeking blessings from them and embellishing our lives with lessons from their unique lives is in fact dire need of the present times.

Ms. Irshad Iqbal visited various stalls that were put up in the ceremony, which included book and eagers' stalls and the Quran corner. A large number of women from different areas of Peshawar city attended the ceremony. The central MWL delegation congratulated the whole Peshawar team for the excellent Milad ceremony.
