A prayer ceremony was held at the central secretariat under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League. The participants paid rich tributes to Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah for her role in the freedom struggle and standing by the Quaid-i-Azam through thick and thin.

Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary MWL Sidra Karamat said that the Madar-i-Millat is the role model of women of Pakistan. She said that the credit of the fact that we are breathing in an independent country goes to Madar-i-Millat.

Ayesha Mubashar, Habiba Ismail, Rafia Urooj, Noreen Alvi, Inshraha Naveed, Bisma Amjad, Misbah Mustafa, Kalsoom Qamar and Sadia Ahmad were present on the occasion.
