Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Faisalabad held a grand Mawlid-un-Nabi conference. President MWL Faisalabad Mrs. Syeda Akhtar Kalsoom was invited as a keynote speaker. Women belonging to various walks of life joined the conference in a large number.

Mrs. Syeda Akhtar Kalsoom emphasized the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and said that the purpose of celebrating Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) is multifold. It is important to attain close proximity with Allah's beloved and also to recall the message from his blessed Seerah.

Deputy Secretary General MWL, Mrs. Anila Ilyas, greatly appreciated President MWL Faisalabad, Mrs. Syeda Akhtar Kalsoom, and her entire team upon organizing this heart-warming conference. She said that MWL, being the women forum, has been rendering services to empower women through education, skill development, and training on social, moral and spiritual aspects of their lives.
