Nasheed program held under MWL (London)

Minhaj Women League London organised a beautiful nasheed programme on the 3rd of March 2018. The MWL London teamed up with Minhaj Welfare Foundation to raise awareness and funds to build an orphan village which will provide care, education and vocational training for girls from marginalised communities in Khanewal (South Punjab) in Pakistan.

More than 200 people turned up at the event raising an amazing £35,000 to £40,000. The event saw a wide range of performances; the main highlight was the nasheed of Hooriya Faheem (a famous nasheed artist from Pakistan).

The program was hosted by sister Jabeen Naveed. It commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by sister Amina Shah, after which a heart-warming nasheed was recited. Ustaza Fatima Mash'hadi (President MWL UK) then spoke on the importance of this project and how we should support this cause as a service to humanity.

At the end of the programme durood and salaam was recited on the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings upon him) and concluded with a heartfelt Dua. Food was served to all the attendees.
