Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s efforts for women empowerment lauded

Addressing a special ceremony held under the banner of Minhaj Women League in connection with the Quaid Day, Mrs. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Islam encouraged the women to play their part in every department of life and emphasized their education and training for this purpose. She said that MQI has been making efforts for empowerment of women, making them beneficial part of society in the light of the teachings of the Holy Quran and Allah be thanked, these efforts are bearing fruits.

Mrs. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri set up training and educational institutions of the international standards to enable the women to play their effective role, adding that these institutions are benefitting thousands of the families.

Mrs. Ayesha Nazir from Holland attended the program and paid rich tributes to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on his services in the multiple fields. She stated that MQI has played a tremendous role in reviving the relationship with our forefathers and the religion. She said that the Islamic Centres run by MQI are promoting Islamic message of tolerance, peace, unity and respect for humanity.

Ms. Farah Naz, Shahida Naumani, Afnan Baber, Sana Waheed, Kalsoom Tufail, Umme Habiba, Balqees Rani, Ms. Samar Fatima, Dr Noshaba Hameed, Ammara Maqsood, Irshad Iqbal, Ayesha Mubashar, Mamoona Shafaat, Lubna Mushtaq, Hafiza Aiman Yousaf, Sadia Ahmad, and Zainab Arshad addressed the ceremony.

Mrs. Farah Naz said that expressing the gratitude of those who work for the well-being of humanity is the Sunna of Allah and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). She said that it is in line with this tradition that we are paying tributes to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for his services in different fields. She said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is the only leader who worked a lot for empowerment of women. A cake was cut to mark the 67th birthday of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri and special Dua was made for his good health and long life.
