Tea party held for a welfare cause

The Macmillan tea party was a wonderful afternoon with a great selection of cakes and deserts and insightful talks from a few individuals and also Doctor Farrakh. Over £420 was raised on the day.

There was a bake off where brother Muzammel came in first place but donated his prize to the MYL brothers who won 2 tickets to an ice hockey game. Sister Aneesa won an afternoon tea for 2 in Central London with her impressive cheesecake. The young baker competition had two winners with sister Khadijah winning a sweet tree and a three year old baker winning boxes of chocolates.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to everyone who baked. You helped make today a success.
