Three spiritual sessions under MWL (Alum Rock Birmingham)

During the week commencing on the 29th of June 2015, Minhaj Women League (Alum Rock Birmingham) held ‘Halaqa-e-Durood’ sessions at three different houses of the sisters in a span of one week. The proceedings of these sessions began with recitation of Durood for about 20 minutes followed by the Qur’anic recitation, Naat, Hadith, and exegesis of Irfan-ul-Quran. For a short while, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s lecture was played on a DVD. A discussion was held on one of the books of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri earmarked for that period of the month followed by a talk on Dawah projects of MQI.

On the 29th of June 2015, Halaqa-e-Durood was held at Sister Rukhsana Begum’s house who is the membership secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham. Firstly Durood was recited for about 20 minutes followed by recitation from the Holy Quran and Naat by Sister Aisha. Sister Rukhsana Begum read out a Hadith on the occasion. She also delivered a speech on the occasion. A recorded speech of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was also played on the occasion. The programme ended on greetings and salutations offered by Sister Aisha.

On the 30 of June 2015, a Halaqa-e-Durood was held at Sister Rabia Khanam’s house who is welfare secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham). The proceedings of the programme got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Sister Naseem, Naat by Sister Saima, Hadith by Sister Sadia, and Zikr by Sister Shahida. Sister Rabia delivered a speech on the occasion. The programme ended with Dua by Sister Sadia and Salaam by Sister Rabia.

On the 2 July 2015 a Halaqa-e-Durood was held at Minhaj-ul-Quran Alum Rock Birmingham. Durood was recited for about 20 minutes. The programme got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Sister Rukhsana Begum followed by a Naat by Sister Shaheen Akhter. Sister Abida Mughal read from Irfan-ul-Quran. Sister Shazia Parveen read out the book about Ramadan. Sister Rukhsana Begum explained a Hadith and Rukhsana Parveen spoke about blessed night of Shab-e-Qadr. The Zikr and Dua were done by Sister Rabia Khanam and Salaam was offered by Sister Shazia Parveen.
