MWL Sandwell holds spiritual gathering Giyarveen Shareef mehfil

On 22nd of March Sandwell Minhaj Women’s League organised a Giyarveen Shareef gathering at Corbett Street mosque in Smethwick. The programme started off with Tilawat which was recited by Sister Nabila, followed by nasheeds by a few sisters. On the day Sister Nabila was our stage secretary. She introduced everyone on to the stage.

Dawah Secretary Sister Sadia Bibi was invited to come and deliver an Urdu speech from Shaykh-ul-Islam’s book 'Maloomat-e-Milad'. We then played a talk delivered by Shaykh-Ul-Islam in Urdu and had a question and answer quiz about the talk. The ladies who answered correctly were gifted a CD lecture by Shaykh-Ul-Islam.

After that Sister Zinnat Bibi gave a beautiful speech in Urdu about the miracles of Abdul Qadir Jilani رحمة الله عليه. The programme ended on recitation of greetings and salutations on the Holy Prophet (SAW).

Food was distributed to all attendees.
