A team of doctors who are treating PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri carried out his medical examination yesterday at his residence and expressed their serious concern on his blood pressure not being controlled.
The PAT chief is feeling intense pain on his chest due to blood pressure being consistently high. The doctors have banned all his meetings and appointments and advised him complete bed rest. They have again suggested that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri should be shifted to hospital for treatment. However, the PAT leader has refused to accept the suggestion saying that he would prefer to undergo treatment at his residence as his going to hospital will spread anxiety among the workers throughout the world. He said that he would only think of going to hospital when requisite facilities will not be available at home.
In a meeting of allied parties of PAT in Lahore, Mian Munir of PML-Q, MWM leader Allama Asad Naqvi and SIC leader Mufti Muhammad Hafeez and Arif Hussain expressed their concern on poor health of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri and prayed for his early recovery.
Meanwhile, telephone calls continue to be received from around the world enquiring after the health of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. His sons, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri have received these phone calls and thanked the people for their prayers and support.
