UK: Quaid Day Celebrations held at MWL Burnley

On the 19th of February 2014, the Minhaj Women League (Burnley) held a birthday celebration in honour of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s 63rd birthday. The mehfil opened with recitation of Darood sharif upon our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until all the sisters had gathered. The ceremony got underway formally with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Sister Ghulam Fatima. A beautiful hadith was narrated by sister Raheela Zeb, who also recited a Naat in the honour of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Sister Zahida Parveen (general secretary) spoke about the life long achievements of our beloved leader, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and all the outstanding contributions to the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran and guiding the Muslim Ummah. She highlighted the need of strengthening the hands of Shaykh-ul-Islam.Greeting and salutation were recited upon the Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The mehfil concluded with a Dua for a long life and good health of Shaykh-ul-Islam. A celebratory birthday cake was also cut and served amongst the audience.
