The central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League undertook visits to various cities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from August 16 to August 21. The MWL leaders namely Mrs. Farah Naz, Anam Riaz, and Saadia Hafeez visited Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gujar Khan, Kamra, Attock, Wah Cantt., Taxila, Pindi Gheb, Hazro, Hassan Abdal, Fateh Jang, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Havelian, Haripur, Nowshera and Peshawar.
The purpose of these visits was to improve and strengthen the organizational structure of the party. The local women league chapters were directed to work according to new policies in addition to establishing new organizations. Besides, the MWL leaders gave away honorary shields and certificates to the workers for their attendance of the revolution march and the sit-in as recognition of their sacrifices.
The MWL leaders visited Minhaj Islamic Centre during their visit to Gojar Khan. In their meetings with the local leaders, they also entrusted responsibilities to the new members. They appreciated the hard work of the workers and directed them to continue the good work.
MWL Islamabad President Mrs. Nusrat Amin presented a performance report to the central leadership during their visit of the federal capital. The local members were briefed about next course of action.
Special sessions with MSM-Sisters were also held during the visit where MSM President Anam Riaz welcomed the new entrants to the MSM-S family. She threw light on the students’ effective role in the background of latest prevailing situation. Appreciating the services of the student community in the nation-building, she emphasized their role in promoting peace and positive attitudes in the society.
