MWL playing its role for women empowerment: Fiza Hussain Qadri
Fiza Hussain Qadri, daughter of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League is the inheritor of the character of Sayyida-e-Kainat Hazrat Zahra (RA), the courage of Hazrat Zainab (RA) and the wisdom of the mother of believers Hazrat Ayesha (RA) and is spreading the consciousness of ‘Hussainiyyat’ in the present age. She said that the glorious services of Women League for human rights, women empowerment, peace and community and integration under the inspiring and galvanizing leadership of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri would b chronicled in golden letters.
Fiza Hussain Qadri said that the struggle to change one’s inner and outer self with the light of knowledge can be instrumental in bringing about positive change in society. The women, she said, had their job cut out for them. She said that knowledge paved the way for action and action led to peace in society.
Fiza Hussain Qadri said that the vision of Shaykh-ul-Islam for change in society gives a critical role to women in this regard and Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League is playing its due role to spread the values of peace, dialogue and harmony under his leadership.
Fiza Hussain Qadri expressed these views in her speech on the occasion of the foundational day of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League in Lahore. Ms Noshaba Zia, Irshad Iqbal, Dr Noshaba, Ayesha Shabbir, Rafia Ali, Gulshan Dilshad, Shakira Chaudhry and other office holders were also present on the occasion. The cake was also cut to mark the festive occasion.
Fiza Hussain Qadri said that lap of mother was the best source of training of the young generations. Mothers, she said, had immensely important role to play in the moral and spiritual training of the younger generations. She also highlighted the need of coupling education with moral training to secure the future of our children
